Terrazzo Talk
One of the standout features in the space is clearly its major embrace of terrazzo. “Instead of using prefabricated panels, we chose the labor-intensive, pour-in-place technique which required a lot of effort to hand-trowel the custom mixture evenly across all surfaces,” explains the Homework team.

“We chose to use this highly durable commercial application of terrazzo as a finish throughout so that we could customize the color to the Holy Matcha brand and manipulate its form to create a continuous surface that becomes seating, flooring, and the bar, which lends itself to a more innovative design than slapping different finishes on each feature.”
