Galli enjoys designing with kids in mind, but is resolute that it doesn’t require any dumbing down of her sophisticated aesthetic. “There are definitely reoccurring elements I like to use,” she says. “I like animals, I like objects from the world that open a child’s experience to fantasy or to worldly culture, but they have to be aesthetically appealing to all ages.”
