At the Downtown Brooklyn loft shared by Owen Wright and Adam Davidson, the entrance offers a taste of the home's midcentury-tinged style. The vintage dresser is from Goodwill; the moderne chair was a gift from a friend. The cheeky Karl Lagerfeld portrait was painted by Wright for Davidson, founder of accessories line AANDD. "It’s sort of an inside joke," explains Davidson. "My first job in Manhattan was as a concierge at the Mercer Hotel. At the time, Lagerfeld was staying there a lot, and I loved watching him and his entourage. His work ethic and sense of purpose became an inspiration to me."
