Desk Goals
"The desk was a key element — there simply wasn’t room to add another piece of furniture to the room," recalls Cronin. "At first, Erin wanted the desk to come forward off the back wall so that two children could sit facing each other at the desk. We designed this in 3D but it was clear that it simply wouldn’t function as desired."

"We opted to extend the desk off of a shelving section on the right wall," she says. "Doing this really fit much better and created a natural break between the ‘closet’ side and the ‘play’ side. We also made the desk top a custom height so that it was comfortable height for Orion to play."
