"Here, we recreated what Cinderella’s living room would look like in modern times, long after marrying her Prince Charming. Regal blue, ivory and gold accents are woven throughout the room that showcase a simple yet elegant palette," shares Wood.

"The Arboretum Brass Bookcase from Anthropologie would be Cinderella’s favorite piece," she says. "It has a whimsical feel to it with little bird accents to represent her feathered friends from the original film."

"Sentimental moments from her past are incorporated into the room like the pumpkin-inspired pouf and Teardrops Capiz Chandelier from CB2, which resembles the elegant, ornate carriage she takes to the ball."

"Other hidden elements include the iconic glass slippers, tiara, and of course, the alarm clock representing when the clock strikes midnight and the magical spell wears off," she explains.

"Those who identify with Cinderella can achieve this look in very accessible ways. Rich velvet pieces, a tufted royal blue sofa, ivory accent chairs, and brass accents can bring a sense of elegance to any space."
