How I Developed A Design Community While Working On My Own
Transition Period
After deciding that graphic design was her calling, Lewis went in an entirely new direction. "I found a school — thanks Columbia College Chicago — that let me make up my own major. I took business, web development, and design courses," says Lewis.
"Eventually I felt confident enough to begin freelancing. I got my first client, dropped out of school, and never looked back."
