If you've ever lived in an old building, you know that it often comes with its fair share of quirks and inconveniences. My one-bedroom apartment, built in the early twentieth century, has only one outlet in each room and oh, yes the most awkward entryway corner ever in existence — at least I'd like to think so.

Since moving in over a year ago, this little inlet has changed many times, yet has continued to lack a sophistication that most people hope to achieve for their entryways, also known as, the book covers of apartments (it'll catch on).

However, with a little help from some Rebecca Atwood x Chasing Paper removable wallpaper and a few added furnishings, this weird corner has morphed into a full-blown swan, more elegant than I could have dreamed. Let it be known that there is hope for awkward corners after all.
