With his constant fun posts and videos of his work, Trine really began developing a larger following. “I took it as direct feedback that the work I was doing was actually connecting with people,” says the designer.

“As I started gaining a following, I felt the responsibility to use the platform as a space for conversation, rather than just a broadcast platform. I don't have to worry about engagement because I'm not selling my platform to advertisers for sponsored content. I'm interested in using the platform to broaden the conversation about design from manufacturing to marketing,” he says.

“I have a lot of students who follow me, and reach out for advice, so I feel like the platform is great space to reach young designers all over the planet.”
