Color Pops
“Adding pops of colors to individual rooms is a great way to define the space and give a room a unique feel and identity,” DeKellis advises. “I painted a wall in my all-white kitchen Peacock House by Valspar and then added hanging plants to give it a living jungle vibe. By painting the wall a darker color, it created depth, interest, and broke up my all-white color scheme while still retaining the fresh feel.”

“Instead of painting the accent wall from corner to corner I wrapped it around one corner and onto the adjacent wall a couple feet. By wrapping your accent wall slightly it gives you a cleaner paint line and also a more current and interesting aesthetic.”
