By maintaining a neutral color palette throughout the interiors with accents in versatile shades like dark blues and greens, Foster created an innate sense of cohesion. “In the main spaces, I wanted to keep things fairly calm and use a blend of textures to add interest,” she says. Mixing solid-colored West Elm pillows with some made from vintage and rare fabrics was an affordable way to layer in texture.
