Antique or modern? A room isn’t a room without the mix.

City or country? Who doesn’t love both!

Which colors do you use most? Blue, charcoal, black, yellow, purple. There’s not a color we don’t like or use.

Favorite materials or textures? We love Venetian plaster and decorative wall textures. It’s probably because we started our company as decorative painters. We also like mixing materials, such as linen and velvet.

Design rule you like to break? Mixing metalswho says you can’t mix brass and zinc? We like mixing old and new, vintage and modern. It gives the room a lived-in, natural feel.

On which movie set would you like to live? Luca Guadagnino's I Am Love

Who is your design hero? We can’t pick just one! Billy Baldwin, Tony Duquette, Roman and Williams, Joseph Hoffman, Herve Van Der Straeten, Elsie de Wolfe.

What's your favorite hotel? Castiglion del Bosco in Siena. It's not too designed or overdone, and it feels like an authentic Italian country home. Every detail is perfect, and the natural beauty is spectacular.

Your style motto? "It’s all in the details."
