5. Eat: Clown Bar
It's not easy to get a table at Clown Bar, but, trust me, it's worth the effort. Unexpected dishes share the menu with old standbys—all done with a special culinary flair that foodies will love. The wine selection is exceptional, but go on—make friends with the bartender. (And speak French if you can; even an attempt at it will go a long way.)

Also noted: If classically French cuisine is what you're looking for @SquareTrousseau, with its elegant decor and menu of standards, is where you want to be. Expect great service and don't leave without trying the the duck—c'est incroyable!
