In one corner, trippy paisley sofas surround a midcentury-style coffee table and Moroccan rug laid on an intricate herringbone wood floor, and a sleek concrete mantel is flanked by modern gilded pendant lamps. From the perfectly positioned gallery walls featuring the work of local artists to the curated mix-and-match aesthetic, the atmosphere is at once homey and eclectic.
The 40 guest rooms exude a similar vibe of curated comfort, with dramatic red drapery and crystal chandeliers hanging from the raw-concrete walls and sumptuous Egyptian cotton-dressed King size beds giving way to intimate seating areas and romantic dining tables for two. Further underscoring the pied-à-terre atmosphere, freestanding claw foot bathtubs sit on wood-plank flooring in the bathrooms, where a variety of the brand's signature Cowshed products are on hand.
Should a soak in the tub not do the trick, the in-house Cowshed spa offers treatments on the industrial-chic ground floor. Rough-hewn wood walls and built-ins, moss green leather treatment chairs, and brass apothecary lamps round out the design—creating an altogether handsome vibe that even the manliest of guests would have trouble resisting.
