One Couple's Transformative (And Eco-Friendly) Vacation Home

Tell us more about the home.
"Cactus Mountain is a small, 1950’s original homesteader cabin on several acres of land. We bought it just over a year ago and spent about nine months renovating it, completely on our own."

"Before we bought it, we had looked at a few other places — but what really sealed the deal was the insane view at Cactus Mountain! It’s perched on what you might call a gigantic hill — for lack of a better description — and looks directly into Joshua Tree National Park. It gets seriously insane panoramic views, which is partly why we spent so much time creating different hang out spots outside. You really can’t get a better view."
