Hunter Is Making Home Products For Target And We're So Intrigued
The rainboot brand is doing a collab.
When we think of Hunter, rainboots, not décor, is the first thing that comes to mind. Well the iconic brand is doing a brand new collaboration with Target that will include over 300 items including shoes, apparel, and items for the home and outdoors. Hunter has never entered into the interior design sphere before, but will be branching out with hammocks, sunshades, and coolers with its new collection.
“Hunter has long been regarded for its impeccable design aesthetic, rich heritage and playful spirit, and based on our research, it’s a brand our guests know and love. So a pairing between our two brands made perfect sense,” said Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target. “From the very beginning, we worked with Hunter to develop a well-designed, affordable collection that’s all about fun, optimism and accessible adventure for the entire family. The colorful, all-weather pieces found in this line are made for enjoying the outdoors – rain or shine – on any budget.”
“As a brand, we have such a strong connection to festivals," said Alasdhair Willis, creative director at Hunter. "Kate Moss wearing her Hunter boots to Glastonbury in 2005 was a defining moment for the brand. Our boots, outerwear, and backpacks are now worn at festivals across the globe, come rain or shine. Recognizing our shared spirit of adventure, getting outdoors and appeal to the whole family, we wanted to create a collection that celebrates that, whether that be a summer gathering in the backyard, weekends away, or at a music festival."
So whether you're getting ready to rough it at Bonnaroo or hang at home, the affordable line will be ready for your next Target haul on April 14.
