Target has really upped its home section in recent years between its amazing Threshold, modern Project62, and rustic Hearth & Hand with Magnolia brands. Well to fill the desire for customers who love an eclectic look, the company just announced a fresh and colorful new collection called Opalhouse filled with fun items to throw into your design mix.

"Not only are our guests responding to the individual brands, but the new brands are driving traffic and sales across the entire store,” said Mark Tritton, chief merchandising officer at Target. “And now, we’re introducing Opalhouse, a new Home-owned brand centered around the eclectic aesthetic. The launch of Opalhouse helps round out our Home assortment, making Target a destination for differentiated brands that guests can find only at Target, all at an incredible value.”

The design team traveled to Aix-en-Provence, Lisbon, Paris, and Mallorca to gather inspiration to create a collection of authentically-inspired, eclectic pieces. The curated line includes items with details like pressed glass, jewel-tone silks, and velvets. The bird in the wallpaper below was even inspired by a bird the designers spotted on the street in Lisbon!

One of our fave parts of the collection? The majority of finds are priced under $30, so creating a unique space is easily in reach for those on a budget. While the new brand isn't dropping until April 8, we are definitely scouting out these pieces for our next Target haul.
