Showroom vignettes aren't exactly known for being highly inspiring or particularly diverse, but a visit to the Flor store in SoHo, NYC, this month might pleasantly defy the norm. The retailer is playing host to a pop-up living room, created in collaboration with Viyet, the high-end consignment furniture site favorited by in-the-know designers, and designed by Patrick J. Hamilton.

Hamilton, who's hot off a dreamy room makeover at this year's Holiday House New York, called on a serene, autumnal palette and global touches to conjure a space that feels eclectic and completely homey, despite being in the middle of a bustling retail space. A curvaceous Moroso Bloomy armchair upholstered in nubby gray is one of several standouts he handpicked from Viyet. "Their pieces have such great backstories and star-designer provenance," says Hamilton of the e-tailer.

"It's a multi-function room that's heavy on texture, with an accent on the natural," says Hamilton.
