Inside New York's Landmark Interiors Exhibit
Take a tour of the Big Apple's most stunning landmark-status interiors
This month, the New York School of Interior Design spotlights the city's most notable interiors in its spring gallery exhibition Rescued, Restored, Reimagined: New York's Landmark Interiors. The show opens to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Law, which protects 1,300 structures, but just 117 interiors—ranging from the Pool Room at the Four Seasons Restaurant, above, to the lesser-known Williamsburgh Savings Bank, below. New photographs by Larry Lederman as well as archival images and materials explore these spaces and are on display through April 24 at the NYSID Gallery (161 East 69th Street).
