Ellen DeGeneres Just Launched A Collection Of Lights
Everyone's favorite comedian believes in the power of good lighting.
It was only a matter of time before semi-pro renovator, full-time funny lady, and beloved talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, forayed into lighting.
Everyone's favorite comedian has made no secret of her love for interiors, or property, and has now lent her stylish eye to a signature lighting collaboration in partnership with Generation Lighting.
Also, a series of new Ellen-branded pillows and floor coverings will help roll out her ever-expanding interior offerings. DeGeneres' existing Home collection already boasts an expansive line-up of tableware, bedding, fabrics, and kitchen goods. Fans can now light up a room with Ellen-approved pendant lights, mid-century inspired wall sconces, rustic floor lamps, and brass-clad chandeliers, in keeping with DeGeneres' own personal style.
"The products are influenced by some of Ellen's favorite, world-renowned artists and feature signature details that are inspired by Ellen's own treasured pieces throughout her homes," DeGeneres' states on her website, edbyellen.
"ED is an extension of my lifestyle and is inspired by who I am as a person," the star adds. "ED is things that I see as a necessity, and things that are playful, too. ED is design that I want to share with everyone."
The 35-piece lighting collection, which is available now via Clarkson Lighting and selected retailers, serves as a pared-back release from the TV star and side-hustling house flipper. DeGeneres' latest launch follows a string of passion projects and the purchase of a $15.9 million-dollar Los Angeles home.
As for why she's chosen to go gone down the lighting route?
“If you've ever stubbed your toe in the middle of the night, you know how important lighting is," DeGeneres quips.
