While it may seem like IKEA is the number one home store in the country, another retailer has taken the throne. According to a study by Chain Store Age, Costco tops the list with the best customer loyalty in the country. With amazing deals and great service, it came out as America's favorite go-to shop.

Based on a poll of almost 3,500 consumers, the study asked participants to rate their satisfaction after the last store visit and likelihood that they would recommend it to friends. While Costco got top ranking with a 72% score thanks to its high marks in store associate availability, IKEA fell just a couple points short of winning the top spot from its good savings and huge selection. We wonder if those tricky IKEA instructions scared people away.

Target, which has really been winning at home decor lately, followed closed behind thanks to its awesome customer service. T.J. Maxx and Kohl’s rounded out the top five thanks to their good loyalty programs, while Home Goods and Bed, Bath & Beyond fell shortly behind. While you might just think of Costco for its amazing supersized foods and samples, don't forget to check out the home section while you're hitting up the warehouse!
