Dolce & Gabbana X Smeg Just Made Breakfast Better
Talk about a designer kitchen.
When food meets fashion, you know you're in for a treat.
In a deliciously Italian meeting of minds, luxury appliance brand SMEG have once again teamed up with high-fashion powerhouse, Dolce & Gabbana, adding a range of Instagramable small appliances to their coveted 'Sicily Is My Love' collection.
Inspired by traditional Italian motifs called crocchi and embodying the very epitome of la dolce vita, fashion and food-lovers can now get their hands on the limited edition SMEG Hand-Blender, 4-Slot and 4-Slice Toasters, and Mixer. Prices range from $850 for a toaster, to $1,500 for a stand mixer — complete with a stainless-steel mixing bowl, 10 different speeds, and even a dough hook — for the seasoned pro.
This isn't the first time the two brands have come together. The partnership officially began their back in 2017, fusing SMEG's reputation for sleek and efficient mid-century design, with Dolce & Gabbana's quintessential Italian style. Need we remind you of the $50,000 hand-painted refrigerator?
The four new additions to the small appliance range will join the SMEG x Dolce & Gabbana Citrus Juicer, Two-Slice Toaster, and Blender — all of which are currently available to US customers — providing the freshest, fruitiest burst of color for your kitchen. If the thought of dropping a casual $50,000 on a fridge feels like a tall order, we suggest starting a little smaller.
Available to US-based customers later this spring, we can't think of a better place to kick off the European summer than in your very own kitchen.
