Spring Cleaning Task #7: Dust Bookcase Shelves
There are two reasons to give your bookshelves an audit during your spring cleaning routine: To make room for new books and to get rid of that inevitable film of dust lining the shelf. For book lovers, the former may not come easy. Start by getting rid of any duplicates and then committing to reading what you have before buying anything new.

Once you’ve pared down, clear the shelves and give everything a good dusting with a lightly dampened, large-looped microfiber cloth. Be sure to work from the top of the bookcase down to catch any dust falling from the top shelves.
