Spring Cleaning Task #12: Rotate Your Mattress
Even if you don’t share a bed with someone, it’s a good idea to rotate your mattress in order to make sure it wears evenly. Solo sleepers in particular, who gravitate to the same side of the bed every night should rotate your mattress twice a year.

But use your best judgment. If you feel some sagging or can see saggy areas with the naked eye, it might be best to rotate your mattress more often. Strip the bedding and clear the area of any items at risk of being knocked over, Then rotate the mattress so the head of the bed becomes the foot. Newer designs minimize the need for flipping, but doing so anyway will only help to prolong its life.
