Spring Cleaning Task #9: Clean Junk Drawers
Ah, the black hole of batteries, pens, and random things... If only the junk drawer had the power to actually make our trash disappear. Unfortunately, they don’t, which means a purge is in order at least once a year, if not monthly.

Once you’ve trashed the things that you really won’t use (like those extra soy sauce packets from your last takeout meal), you’ll need to sort the remaining items by type and install small catch-alls or a drawer organizer to house each pile. After an initial makeover, junk drawer upkeep is key, but it should be a lot easier to manage than your original overflowing heap.
