Sunbrella and Lonny present Design Challenge 2013: Perspective Atlanta, a video series about an innovative and inspiring residential makeover.
In Episode 6, designer Alex Gaston seeks ways to warm up the loft's industrial aesthetic. His main challenge: how to create a cohesive space in which exposed brick, 20-foot celings, dark window trim, wood flooring, exposed HVAC ductwork, and a metal staircase all compete for attention. Gaston also visits a drapery fabricator to check in on the project's most dramatic feature—the plunging draperies—and meets with Gina Wicker of Sunbrella Fabrics and Catherine Dash of Lonny for a mid-project update.
