Is it really Christmas without the annual Hess truck? While most people remember those cheery commercials from their childhood, the petroleum company officially launched the holiday phenomenon in 1964. Of course, the annual toy is only one part of this marketing campaign's appeal. We mean, who can forget the Hess truck song? Believe it or not, the company released the jingle over 20 years later  — to the tune of the Angel's "My Boyfriend's Back," of course. It's music to our ears.
