Nicole Curtis came into the spotlight when she appeared on the HGTV show Rehab Addict. But, one thing she kept in the dark was her second pregnancy. In her tell-all book, Better Than New, she revealed that she kept her belly from the cameras by only filming from the waist up and carrying a mirror around to hide her bump, People reported.

As if that wasn't shocking enough to fans, the birth of her son, Harper, led to a brutal custody battle with the father. According to People, Curtis had planned to raise her child on her own, but "after her ex found out he was the father, he asserted his parental rights and was awarded visitation. Suddenly, Curtis found herself having to turn over her then-6-month-old son twice a week."
