Chip and Joanna Gaines don't hide their Christian faith. In 2016, their church made headlines for having anti-gay views. BuzzFeed reported that Jimmy Seibert, the couple's pastor at Antioch Community Church, a "nondenominational, evangelical, mission-based megachurch," was openly anti same-sex marriage and advocated for conversion therapy to "turn" LGBTQIA people straight.
