25. 'Kitchen Cousins' Hosts Sued Over Bad Renovation
John Colaneri and Anthony Carrino, who hosted Kitchen Cousins on HGTV, were hit with a lawsuit in 2013 that ended up being detrimental to them and their business, Brunulleschi Construction. They were sued on "claims including consumer fraud, breach of contract, fraud, and negligence. They allegedly performed shoddy work, lied about the house passing final inspections, and abandoned the job after being paid $211,000," nj.com reported.

The plaintiffs were awarded $857,894, and the hosts filed for bankruptcy in 2015. Luckily for HGTV, neither the network nor the show Kitchen Cousins had anything to do with the legal dispute.
