Brighten Your Table with Hand Painted Ceramic Bowls

Far & Wide Collective, an e-tailer of artisanal wares that launched earlier this spring, is my new answer for livening dreary tabletops. The Fair Trade shop boasts a range of jewelry, patterned scarves, handbags, and home goods from craftsmen around the world, but it is the painterly ceramics that will have me coming back for more.

Brighten Your Table with Hand Painted Ceramic Bowls

These one-of-a-kind dipping bowls are made by Abbar and Alisher Rakhimov, a father-son duo in Uzbekistan.  When not being used for olive oil or a mise-en-place, I'd hang them on a wall, proudly on display.

At just $19 a pop, these vessels– which feature floral and animal motifs reinterpreted from traditional Uzbek craftwork– would make a lovely housewarming gift for your comrades who treasure the unique and the handmade.
