CB2's New Student-Designed Collab
The homewares retailer teams up with School of the Art Institute of Chicago students on a collection of small-space solutions
This month, CB2 debuts its first collaboration—Design Collab No. 1—with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The housewares retailer, which also calls the Windy City home, worked with twelve students in the school's Designed Objects curriculum to create space-saving pieces that would actually go into production. The full range—including the Sling side table by Brooke Collins (above), which has a handy leather compartment to stash magazines and books, and the Tonic bar by Zach Pino (below), designed to take advantage of under utilized corner space—is now available for purchase online and in stores.
