Get A Sneak Peek At IKEA's New Pop Up Restaurant
IKEA is offering a DIY dinner space in London.
IKEA is letting Londoners live out their dreams and cook in one of its incredible model kitchens. Excuse us while we hop on a plane...
IKEA fans, mark your calendars. The Swedish home giant is opening The Dining Club, a pop-up from September 10 to 25 in Shoreditch that is part store, part restaurant. But unlike a normal café, you can also do the cooking. The kitchen and dining space are now open to book so you and up to 19 of your friends throw your own IKEA-filled brunch, lunch, or dinner party. Spaces are limited to lucky applicants, who will get to orchestrate a total foodie experience supervised by a head chef. In addition to its rent-a-kitchen, The Dining Club will be hosting daily workshops and talks on cooking, clean eating, and going green.
While workshops are nice, we're even more psyched on the interior. Designer Afroditi Krassa gave us an inside look on her Instagram as they are putting the finishing touches on the decor.
The exterior isn't so shabby either. Clearly the minimalist brand knows how to stock a shelf.
Here's to hoping that IKEA will set up a branch of The Dining Club stateside sometime soon!
