Sneak Peek: Ilse Crawford x Ikea
If there's a better match we have yet to find it. Here's a first look at the collab of the year
As Lonny's market editor, I'm usually running into the office eager to share the details of just-announced collaborations on the horizon. But when news of a partnership between Ilse Crawford and Ikea broke at the Lonny office? I've never seen so much unanimous excitement from our team. Back in June, we gave a very first look at the designer's Sinnerleg collection for the brand, as seen at Ikea's Malmö, Sweden, headquarters. Then, during Stockholm design week this month, a more in-depth glimpse of what's to come was staged at the seriously stunning, Crawford-designed hotel Ett Hem.
The collection includes more than 30 pieces—ranging from a minimalist daybed to decorative glass vases—that incorporate natural materials like cork and raffia.
