The print, Portor, was inspired by its namesake, a type of marble characterized by an inky black hue with gold veining that was extremely popular during the era of Napoleon Bonaparte.
(Available in four colorways, the print, Portor, is an homage to French historical monuments. Photo courtesy Pierre Frey.)
In homage to French historical monuments (many of which are made of Portor), Kiss reinterpreted the organic pattern on a cotton print, available in four vibrant colorways. Working on a reupholstery project? This trompe l'oeil design will transform any ho-hum sofa into something quite statuesque.
