Practical Priorities
"I grew up poor with my grandparents until I was three, then in and out of homes, constantly moving," says Siosi. "I never lived in a real house, or anywhere for more than two years at a time. I became obsessed with collecting knick-knacks and attaching sentimental value to everything."

"Now that I’ve lived here for the past six and a half years, I finally have a real home and have been able to let go, simplify, and curate the items in my home in a way that seeks utility and promotes creativity," she says. "Letting go of the meaningless clutter of knick-knacks relieves space for my supplies to become a useable element of décor."
