Did you guys have to do major renovations?
"Pretty much every nook and cranny was touched. In some cases, it was just paint and refinishing since the house was really dark before. But as is the case with many homes built in this era, it was lacking a proper master suite."

"We moved a staircase on the second floor and a few walls to create a proper master bathroom and closet (a top priority for me!) as well as a Jack and Jill bathroom to service the other two bedrooms on the second level. Thanks to Meredith McBrearty (a dear college friend, who owns her own interior design firm in Atlanta, I called on to help) and Mike Parry Construction, we were able to use every single inch we could find to create the most useable amount of space. The kitchen also got a major overall and in general we just tried to brighten all the spaces—painting all the dark trims a bright and glossy white."
