Tell us more about the amazing kitchen.
"I am a sucker for an all white kitchen and well…perhaps I am a descendant of Liberace because I have yet to meet a piece of gold brass that I didn’t love."

"The white La Cornué with brass knobs was the only option for me, so the kitchen formed around that. We had a custom brass hood made (basically a big brass box) and mounted it on a solid slab of honed Calacatta Gold marble (same marble that we used for countertops, island and waterfall). This acts as the focal point of the entire space. To finish out the space and add some warmth, we chose a gorgeous, hand-painted silk Porter Teleo fabric in pink and orange hues, added a hot pink banquette seat and throw pillows made of vintage Hermes scarves. The sitting room off the kitchen is a space that we really live in. The super talented women from Alice Lane Home helped complete this space with the perfect touches — lamps, pillows, the gold end table, and the piece de resistance: A Mongolian lamb upholstered brass chair — my 3.5 year-olds favorite chair in the house."
