We have a feeling this look later inspired the shabby-chic design movement. While we tend to like a mix of later hues together in a space, this room takes things a little bit too far with its flourishes. From the gilded mirror to the frilly curtains, the design of this sitting area definitely takes on a feminine feel. That would be fine if it wasn't for the super loud floral pattern that takes over the upholstery of the chairs and ottoman. That element we would be happy to edit out.
