Going Green With Vintage
“Use of vintage pieces to give character and depth to spaces is not a new idea, but it seems to be more popular than ever,” remarks the designer. “We love the idea of mixing pieces from the past with new pieces. People are now realizing that antiques don’t have to always result in an old world look. Mixing quality vintage pieces add history and meaning to a space. This technique is effective with any style of design from traditional to modern.”

Another reason to go vintage? “It’s also green,” says Corbin. “In a culture of disposable products, what better way to conserve by recycling beautiful furnishings from the past. This trend has caught on and will always be relevant.”
