So Dramatic
A mid-century daybed reupholstered in Missoni fabric with a red Turkish Tulu rug hanging above really steals the show.
The Tulu rug is cited as one of Apponyi's favorite items in the home. "It was my first personal interior-design investment a few years ago," she tells Lonny.
"It holds a lot of significance for me due to the time and reasons that I purchased it," she says.
"When I first installed it on the wall in my Brooklyn apartment, I hung an old Elvis necklace on it as a joke, but it has remained there since. I like that the Tulu wears a necklace."
